Front Of House Manager

We’re a We are a family run artisanal bakery, pizzeria and coffee shop based in Kennington. Everything is freshly produced on site and our ethos is based on supporting sustainability and providing wholesome & nourishing food for our communities. We support local suppliers, small, ethically run, sustainable farms and producers that use free-range, organic and bio-dynamic approaches  

We are now looking for a Front of House Manager who shares our passion for great food, exceptional service, and community-driven values. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will be:

Experienced in a front-of-house leadership role within a hospitality or food business

Confident, approachable, and a natural team leader

Passionate about delivering warm, genuine customer service

Organised and efficient, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Able to manage rotas, reservations, and day-to-day team operations

Calm under pressure and focused on maintaining high standards at all times

Genuinely interested in wholesome food and sustainability

Key Responsibilities: Lead the front-of-house team to deliver a welcoming and efficient service

Oversee daily FOH operations, including customer flow, table management, and team coordination

Train, support, and motivate team members to meet service standards

Handle customer queries and feedback professionally and positively

Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere are always at a high standard

Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service

Support with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock control
